Ive made this website in collaboration with reeflightinteractive.com .
it was a lot of fun working on this project , 3Ds max 9 and V-ray were used to make the 3d animation of the cupcakes , you can test it on [link] just roll over the cupcakes to see the animation :) .
i hope you check it out and tell me what do you think ,

looks good but when the red ball on the "web" cupcake drops it looks really funny and unnatural. it seems like it should drop right back into the spot, not go to the right and then bounce into place.

I really like the idea, and it is really nice too!

I agree with Roninfox, but I understand:)
Also, the second cupcake has a weird animation.
The animation is that de cream 'spits' out the red thingy right? But why is it comming down right beside the hole, and not back in it?
Because it comes down like that, you would actually thing that the red thingy would roll off the cake, but it gets 'sucked' back in the hole

Great rendering, lighting and textures, but the lines of the cupcake models look unnaturally sharp and clean. Especially the pink cream on the first cupcake. It doesn't behave like real cream-- it looks very hard and plastic.

thanks for your comment :), and yes you right , but actually i had to lower the details so it doesn't take alot of time in rendering , and that what resulted in a lack of realism .
